This weekend is going to be a good one. I can feel it.
I'm headed "home" to Atlanta to see family, friends, and attend a fundraising gala at my old high school. I've been homesick for a while now, so it's going to be great to be back in my old stomping grounds.
I also get to celebrate my second favorite holiday, ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!! As a child, my mom used to dye the milk in my breakfast cereal green to celebrate, and I continue the tradition as an adult by drinking green beer, ha! Maybe it's my Scot-Irish blood, but the very thought of Flogging Molly and Guiness makes me absolutely giddy. It doesn't hurt that green is my favorite color, too!
The last reason that this weekend is going to be wonderful?
Mister Weatherman is predicting it to be75 and sunny.
Say no more.

ReplyDeleteAh lovely post, and picture, cannot beleive how hot it is there, traditionally it rains allday on Paddys day, and sadly yesterday was the same, very cold and showery, I was working in Mac in Dublin so felt very involved was nice atmosphere.
