Ya know, I just can't decide if I'm on board with the wedged sneaker trend or not.  In theory, they are completely against my fashion philosophy -- they're not extremely functional, they're the antithesis of classic, and Jackie O would never be caught dead in them.  Yet with all that said, I can't help but think they're so cool.

I'm still not sure if this trend was meant for my lifestyle, but if I did own a pair of wedged sneakers, I would wear  them with the outfit above for a Saturday full of brunch and boutique shopping.  I like toning down the edginess of the leather leggings and wedge sneaker with a soft drapey sweater and a feminine floral scarf.  The ladylike purse and dusty pink lipstick complete the look.
